Case study - Storebrand Bank

Encap’s mobile authentication solution was installed at EDB’s operating environment for security solutions (Secure Access) aimed at banks in Norway and other service providers in 2007. Our pilot customer Storebrand Bank made a start-up of the pilot project in September the same year. The pilot was thoroughly tested in a collaboration environment between Storebrand Bank, Encap and EDB in Q3 - Q4 2007.

Storebrand Bank has tested and verified the complete service chain offered by Encap, including application download, installation, user-activation and user authentication. The Encap solution was set in pilot production at Storebrand’s online bank in Q1 - Q2 2008. Storebrand Bank decided to perform a soft-launch to selected customers on the Storebrand Bank live, online banking portal in Q2 2008. The online bank is hosted by EDB, and the Encap solution is in live operations at EDB hosting centres.
